Book a lorry receipt
In Sales › Lorry Receipts, enter the date, the consignor and consignee with name, GSTIN and address, from and to, the vehicle number and driver, packages and description, actual and charged weight, the consignor's invoice number, the value of goods and the e-way bill number. Each LR takes the next number in its series. Pro.
Freight, charges and who pays
Enter the freight and other charges such as loading and hamali, and mark who pays: to be billed, to pay or paid. Choose GST on freight: 0% with a reverse-charge note, 5%, 12% or 18%.
Print the LR
Print or download the LR as a PDF with both parties, the route, packages, weights, the freight and who pays it, the GST note, and signature boxes for the consignor, the driver and your firm.
Booked, in transit, delivered
Move each LR from booked to in transit to delivered, or cancel it. Filter the list by status, and see at a glance which LRs are still unbilled.
Bill selected
Tick several unbilled LRs of one party and press Bill selected. One sales invoice opens with a freight line per LR, carrying its LR number, route, vehicle and charged weight, at SAC 996511 and the LR's GST rate.
No load billed twice
A billed LR is locked: it cannot be changed or cancelled while its invoice stands. Delete the invoice and its LRs are free to bill again.
Freight dues per party
Each freight invoice goes to the party's ledger with its due date, so you see what every party owes. Receipts against several invoices are part of Pro; on any plan a payment can be recorded on the invoice itself.

What a quotation is

Simple numbers, real steps, so you can see whether it fits your booking office.
The 1st: a booking. A textile trader in Surat sends 120 cartons to a buyer in Delhi. You make an LR with the trader as the party to bill: consignor and consignee with their GSTINs, Surat to Delhi, the truck number and the driver, 120 packages of cotton fabric, actual weight 2,350 kg and charged weight 2,500 kg, his invoice number, the value of goods and the e-way bill number he gives you. Freight is ₹18,000 plus ₹600 hamali, to be billed, with GST on freight at 0% and the reverse-charge note.
The 2nd: the truck leaves. You print the LR for the driver and mark it in transit.
The 5th: delivered. The consignee receives the goods; you mark the LR delivered.
Through the month. The same trader books eleven more loads, each on its own LR.
The 30th: the month's bill. You filter his unbilled LRs, tick all twelve and press Bill selected. One invoice opens with twelve freight lines at SAC 996511; you save it, the LRs are marked billed, and the invoice sits in his ledger with its due date.
Next week: a correction. One LR had the wrong charged weight. You delete the invoice, correct the LR, tick the twelve again and bill them.
- Which GST rate applies to freight, and whether the party pays it under reverse charge, depends on the option your agency has chosen and on the party. Confirm the right rate for each party with your CA.
- VyapRise does not generate e-way bills. The LR records the e-way bill number the consignor gives you.

Not a fit yet if you
Need trip expenses, diesel, tolls or driver accounts: VyapRise has none of these, and no vehicle-wise profit or fleet maintenance. It does not generate e-way bills; you type the number on the LR. There is no hired-truck (lorry hire) payment screen, no GPS tracking and no driver app. It runs in the browser and needs internet; there is no offline mode.

Can I bill several LRs of one party on one invoice?
Yes. Tick the party's unbilled LRs and press Bill selected: one sales invoice opens with a freight line per LR at SAC 996511. Once saved, those LRs are locked as billed; deleting the invoice makes them billable again.
What GST rates can I put on freight?
0% with a reverse-charge note, 5%, 12% or 18%, chosen on each LR. The invoice made from the LRs carries each LR's rate. Which rate applies to you, and when the party pays under reverse charge, is for your CA to confirm.
Does VyapRise generate e-way bills?
No. It does not generate e-way bill numbers. You type the e-way bill number the consignor gives you on the LR, and it prints there.
Can I track trip expenses, diesel and driver advances?
No. VyapRise has no trip sheets, diesel, toll or driver accounts and no vehicle-wise profit. It covers the LR, the freight bill and the party's dues.
How much does transport LR software cost on VyapRise?
