A serial on every piece
Type or scan the serial of each laptop, camera, DVR, hard disk or printer on the purchase bill. Five cameras need five numbers, and a number already in stock is refused. On the sale you pick the serial of the piece you hand over. Pro.
Warranty on the bill
Set warranty months on the item. Each sold serial gets its warranty-until date printed on the bill, and the Warranty Expiring report lists pieces near the end of cover. Works with serials, on Pro.
Look up any number
Search a serial in Serial Numbers to see whether it is in stock, sold, defective or returned to the vendor, which bill it came in on and which invoice it left on. Useful when a customer brings a camera back two years later. Pro.
Quotations for installations
Quote a 4-camera setup with cameras, DVR, hard disk, cable, connectors and installation. Send the PDF, then convert it to a sale order or the invoice without retyping. For a big order, add a payment schedule such as 50% advance and 50% on installation. Pro.
Sale orders billed in parts
An office orders 10 laptops but you have 6 today. The sale order tracks what was delivered and invoiced on each line, so you bill 6 now and 4 when they arrive. Sale orders are part of Pro.
Sales and purchase ordersRepair and service jobs
Open a job card for a laptop or printer repair: device, serial, problem, advance and status. Add the parts and the service charge, press Bill this job and the invoice fills itself. Repair jobs work on Free.
Brand, rack and service items
Keep the brand and rack on each item for the counter staff. Installation, AMC visits and repair labour are service items with their own SAC code and GST rate; they hold no stock. Both work on every plan.
Counter billing for accessories
Mice, keyboards, pen drives and cables bill by barcode on the invoice or at the Pro POS, with cash, UPI and card on one bill.

One week at a computer and CCTV shop
Simple numbers, so you can see each step.
Monday: a CCTV quotation. A shop owner wants four cameras. You make a quotation: four 2 MP cameras, a 4-channel DVR, a 1 TB hard disk, 90 metres of cable, connectors and installation as a service line. Each line takes its HSN or SAC and GST rate from the item. You send the PDF on WhatsApp.
Tuesday: it is confirmed. You convert the quotation to the invoice. On the camera line you pick four serials from those in stock, and one each for the DVR and the hard disk. The bill prints every serial and the warranty end date under its item.
Wednesday: a laptop order for an office. An office orders 10 laptops on a sale order. You have 6 in stock, so you bill 6 now, picking their six serials. The sale order shows 4 still to deliver.
Thursday: a repair. A customer brings in a printer that will not pull paper. You open a repair job with the device, its serial, the problem and a ₹300 advance. When the roller is changed, you add the part and the service charge and press Bill this job.
Friday: a warranty question. The shop owner from Monday says one camera has stopped. You search its serial: sold on Tuesday's invoice, bought on the distributor's bill last month, warranty valid. You have what the brand's service centre will ask for.

- A voided or deleted invoice puts its serials back in stock, so the register stays true.

Need AMC visit schedules: there are none, though a recurring invoice can bill the AMC fee every month, quarter or year on every plan. Also not a fit if you need a kit that holds serial items (a kit cannot contain serial-tracked pieces, so bill the cameras and DVR as separate lines). Serials of stock you already hold are typed in, not imported. No phone camera scanning, no Play Store app and no offline mode; it runs in the browser and needs internet.
Common questions
Can I track serial numbers of laptops and CCTV cameras?
Yes, on Pro. Record each piece's serial on the purchase bill and pick it on the sale; the serial prints under the item on the bill. The Serial Numbers register shows each number's status, the bill it came on and the invoice it left on.
Can I print warranty dates on the bill?
Yes. Set warranty months on the item, and each sold serial gets its warranty-until date printed with it. The Warranty Expiring report lists pieces whose warranty is ending. Warranty works with serial tracking on Pro.
Can I bill installation charges with the goods?
Yes. Make installation a service item with its SAC code and GST rate. It goes on the same invoice as the cameras and holds no stock.
Can I manage laptop and printer repairs?
Yes, on every plan. A repair job keeps the device, problem, advance and status. When the work is done, add the parts and the service charge and press Bill this job to fill the invoice.
How much does it cost?
