Set a credit limit and credit days per customer. Past the limit or overdue days, the bill warns, or needs the owner's approval if you switch that on. It does not block the bill outright. Works on Free.

A builder books 500 bags for the month. The sale order tracks what has been delivered and invoiced on each line, so you bill in parts. Add a payment schedule, such as 30% advance and the rest on delivery. Pro.

A week at a building material dealer using VyapRise

Monday: a builder's booking. A builder books 400 bags of cement and 3 tons of 12 mm TMT bars for his Green Park site. You make a sale order, pick the site, and his Builder price list fills his rates. The order shows 400 bags and 3,000 kg to deliver.
Tuesday morning: the trucks go out. Two trucks leave: one with 150 bags for Green Park, one with steel and bricks for two smaller customers. You send the Green Park material on a delivery challan with the vehicle number. For the day's invoices you make a load sheet per vehicle; the driver gets a PDF of what to unload where.
Wednesday: a walk-in contractor. A contractor wants 20 bags and 500 kg of steel on credit. He already owes ₹1,80,000 against a limit of ₹2,00,000, so the bill warns that he will cross his limit. You decide to take part payment first. If you had switched on approval, the bill would wait for the owner.
Saturday: billing the week. Green Park has had three challans this week. You select all three and make one invoice; the lines come across as delivered, and the sale order shows what is still to go.
Month end: who owes what. The outstanding report shows each builder's dues with the oldest invoice date, and each site shows its own billed and owed figures.
- Cement moved to 18% GST from 22 September 2025; steel, sand and bricks have their own rates. Confirm each HSN and rate with your CA.
- A ton line moves 1,000 kg of stock; the factor is saved on the line, so changing it later never changes an old bill.

Can I sell cement in bags and steel in tons?
Yes, on every plan. Keep each item in its own unit and add other units with a factor, such as TON = 1000 KG for steel. Choose the unit on each bill line; stock is always counted in the item's own unit.
Can I send material on a challan and bill it later?
Yes, on Pro. Send goods on delivery challans, then bill several challans on one invoice. Return challans take back what came back, and the unbilled-challan report shows what is still to bill.
Does it make a load sheet for each truck?
Yes, on every plan. Make a load sheet per vehicle or route from the day's saved invoices. It lists what to load and lets you mark each invoice delivered or returned, with a PDF for the driver.
Can I stop giving credit to a builder who has not paid?
VyapRise warns when a bill takes a customer past the credit limit or the overdue days you set, and can require the owner's approval instead. It does not block the bill outright; the decision stays with you.
